Just jot down the recipe and stick it on the fridge door because you will never stop making this as it will be always on-demand!

Remember to pick wide mugs with the average height shown in the picture. Also, it’s very important to fill up only 1/4 of the mug because it will rise to the top and spill out making an unpleasant mess.

Ingredients you'll need for 2 mug cakes;

Ingredients        Amounts

To Whisk

Egg
1
Sugar4 tbsp
Milk3tbsp
Butter (melted)2 tbsp
Salt-pinches2 

To combine together

Plain flour
4 tbsp
Baking powder1/2 tsp
Cocoa powder1 tbsp

Chocolate mug cake- ingredients

Let’s make;

Step 1: Mix all the wet ingredients

  • Melt butter
  • Whisk the egg 
  • Add sugar and continue whisking the egg
  • Add milk 
  • Add melted butter
  • Whisk until the sugar dissolves 

Step 2: Mix all the Dry ingredients
  • Combine flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt together
  •  Add to the mixture
  • Mix the batter with the fork until all comes creamy and runny

Step 3: Microwave for 1min
  • Pour the batter equally into two mugs.  Mugs should be filled only up to half as the batter could spill out while microwaving.
  • Drop chocolate shavings/chocolate chips/chocolate buttons on top
  • Microwave one mug for 1 minute on full power.  Five more seconds will do if you feel the batter is too wet
  • Take out of the microwave  
  • Drop a few chocolate shavings or buttons on top and let them melt with the heat of the cake
