This video shows how the Black Forest Cake is being displayed It was indeed a dream come true when I finally whipped this  beautiful cake up! The whole process of making this cake felt quite a daunting task some months before.  However, my passion and never diminishing grit drove me to achieve very impressive results in the end!  My whole aim was to make this cake without going through much of a hassle, following only a few steps, using easily available ingredients, and saving a lot of time and energy.  I could fulfill all these goals when I came across that bottled cocktail cherries could be used instead of making the cherry filling and syrup out of fresh cherries.  Besides, cherries come only in season!   I personally feel using cocktail cherries in this recipe is very practical and in turn, the cherry syrup in the bottle gives an addictive deep flavour to the cake as well as the cherries taste simply  exquisite!                                                               My tips:
